In 2013, it celebrated its 100th anniversary: ​​From a small shop in Essen, it has grown into the successful ALDI Nord Group, which is represented in nine European countries and comprises more than 70 regional companies.

A decisive influence on ALDI’s long-term success is achieved by its employees, whose approximately 60,000 employees are employed in Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Spain.

Today, ALDI in Poland employs almost 3,500 people, announcing a further increase in employment due to the development of the network.
